Join this Wednesday's demonstration (March 3rd) of the Erie County Prisoners Rights Coalition 5 PM in front of the Erie County Holding Center, Delaware & Church, Buffalo

Here in Buffalo, every Wednesday since last August, there's been a demonstration at the downtown HOLDING CENTER, bringing intense attention to the abuse of prisoners. These protests (and other supportive activities) have been built by an activist coalition-- the Erie County Prisoners Rights Coalition.

The terrible conditions at the Holding Center continue, and the County has slashed budgets for services that people need, including DRASTIC CUTS TO EDUCATION--- but despite all that--- THE COUNTY WANTS TO BUILD A NEW JAIL! As the March 4 National Day of Protest to Defend Education sweeps across the country, students are demanding END THE SCHOOL TO PRISON PIPELINE - MONEY FOR EDUCATION, NOT INCARCERATION, It's time that the voice of students be heard here loud and clear--- SCHOOLS, NOT JAILS!! BE THERE AT THE HOLDING CENTER THIS WEEK!!
